Have you ever had one of those weeks which start with good intentions and somewhere between the fresh fruit salad and the tropical no-fat smoothie, it turns into deep fried chicken and whiskey?
Yep, it’s been like that for me.
Hmm, the diet starts next week.
I’ve had a tremendous few weeks though, beginning with the launch of Warrior’s Surrender on the 7th of this month and now last Sunday, the release of a short story anthology that it has been my privilege to work on.
The idea behind A Season To Remember, Four Short Stories For Christmas came as a throw away line following a lunch where I met south-east Queensland authors Susanne Bellamy, Eva Scott and Noelle Clark for the first time.
We had become friends via Facebook and realised that since we lived so close (in relative terms), it would make sense for us to actually meet. We did and had such a good time that we thought we’d try a small publishing project together.
The result is A Season To Remember which you will have seen profiled on these pages. It is a free read from us to you.
It’s available for you to download now on Smashwords or wherever Smashwords distributes.
I do hope you enjoy the stories. This has been such a fun exercise for us that I would like to do more short stories. I have ideas for two already – a contemporary rom-com and a ‘ghost’ story for Christmas.
